Abu Dhabi Choral Group did it again with this year’s performance of the 1934 musical Anything Goes. Packed full of Cole Porter classics, the Anything Goes cast cast of 35 performing members not only belted out the old showtunes but they also busted out the tap shoes too.
“Omigod You Guys!” I loved the mix of costumes and lighting which artfully decorated the otherwise bare stage. My attention was definitely on the performance and not distracted by unnecessary props as the Delta Nu’s and the other female performers gave it their all earning their role as cheerleaders and sorority sisters on the stage.

It’s a candyland on steroids, a color wheel spun out of control, a mish mosh of all things scrumptious and definitely every child’s dream come true.
There they were. A cozy cuddle of six kittens closely snuggled up directly under my car tire. Thank goodness when I pulled out of the garage for the morning school commute that they were in front of the wheel and not behind. It could have been a terribly traumatic experience for Mini.
Whoa…what do you mean that’s a real pisser? I am no Lily Librarian. I have seen and heard a fair amount in my life but I didn’t expect my ten year-old to use the word pisser straight in my face.
