Teacher’s Appreciation is being celebrated this week at GEMS American Academy and Maha and the other ladies at GEMS American Academy Parent Association have really went all out for day #1 of the celebration (yes, it is a 3 day celebration).
“Omigod You Guys!” I loved the mix of costumes and lighting which artfully decorated the otherwise bare stage. My attention was definitely on the performance and not distracted by unnecessary props as the Delta Nu’s and the other female performers gave it their all earning their role as cheerleaders and sorority sisters on the stage.
Vote for The PTA!!!!!

The contemporary cubed entrance of Zuma let’s you know this place is not your ordinary restaurant. Entering into the cube I felt like I was joining a secret club or something obscure which felt a little adventurous.
Decorated in a bold techie decor with a pattern of vibrant colors, bold stripes and the sleek twisted stainless steel mechanisms of the roller coaster railings, ROGO’S is where food meets amusement. If it weren’t for the lack of concert style lighting and throbbing club music I would think it is required to buckle up for the ride, but you don’t, because the only thing that is making loops, spirals and spins at approximately 2-8 km/h is your food coming down a tornado track!
Candylicious is not just a candy store— it is a sweet tooth destination chocked full of 4,000 assorted sweets; or as they like to call it a feast for the senses. It kind of gives me a psychedelic sugar buzz just walking in. It’s a candyland on steroids, a color wheel spun out of control, a mish mosh of all things scrumptious and definitely every child’s dream come true.
