Now Playing: Bang, Bang

This blog post is not intended to offend anyone. I believe we all stand unified in our belief that public shootings need to stop. Unfortunately, we cannot agree on what needs to be done. The Poop Plane

I am seriously addicted to seeing the red lipstick on the mouth of my flight hostess as she says, almost in dramatic slow-motion, Can — I —get— you —a —drink? Well, yes, you absolutely can get me a drink! I will take a flute of your finest so I can snap an obligatory boasting pic of me clinking my champagne glass with a filtered view of my nuts in a china bowl in the background.

The Sushi Class

My first faux pas was to violently try to remove the clear wrap from the bamboo mat. Conditioned to unpack everything within my reach like a zombie in a trance, and frustrated that the clear wrap was getting the best of me, I clinched my teeth to apply the death grip and rip it off like my life depended on it until a quiet soft-spoken sous chef whispered Madam, it is supposed to be there.

Smoking Doll

All I needed was a smoke machine and I would’ve been ready for a fiery fan dance popularized during the Joseon Dynasty. What makes this place unusual and refreshing is the vibe. Smoking Doll is Asian exotic — not Asian kimono with cherry blossoms.

A Cup of Gold

Meet the world-famous gold cappuccino which is served at one of the most beautiful hotels on earth. The Emirates Palace is known as going well beyond 5 stars this luxury hotel sits directly on the beach and is a very popular tourist destination. The Emirates Palace is breath-takingly beautiful and not only showcases Arabian architecture but encapsulates Arabian culture.

Angelina – Yas Mall

In addition to Angelina’s world-famous tearoom serving artistically created desserts that epitomize the French way of living, Angelina also offers a full breakfast, snack, lunch and dinner menu in the same luxuriously indulgent fashion as in Paris. During our visit we were graciously accommodated by a full staff that was eager for us to enjoy the Angelina experience so much so that we began to feel like we stepped out of a Renoir painting.
